Located in beautiful southwest Montana, Gallatin River Ranch (GRR) is located in a “banana belt” climate. With altitudes ranging from 4200ft to over 5200ft on some of the taller peaks, the weather in GRR is much more mild than the surrounding areas of Bozeman, Bridger Canyon, Four Corners and the Gallatin Gateway. While we do get snow, it is does not typically exceed 12-14″ of precipitation per year. Our Ranch maintenance team work year around to ensure that our private road system remains accessible. In an effort to maintain the “old west” feel our roads are not paved, but are smooth and well maintained.
With miles of private trails our residents enjoy extensive opportunities to hike, ride and explore throughout the Ranch and surrounding areas.
